Hello everyone! As you probably know, today is the day we released the digital download of Issue 1 to all backers!
However, many of you have already had trouble with the link to download the comic. We are extremely sorry for this inconvenience! We are keeping up with emails at [email protected], and if you have any trouble with the link yourself, please do not hesitate to respond to the email and we will send you a direct attachment of the file.
Again, we just want to say how sorry we are for whatever is causing this malfunction (we keep checking the link on our end and it it works fine for us, so we not sure of the cause). Many apologies, and we hope too many of you are not affected!
April Update!

Hello all! This month's update is coming to you a few days earlier than usual because we have a time-sensative announcement!
If you are not a long-time comic book fan who regularly goes to comic shops or conventions, or better yet, who also works in comics like the Moonshine Crew does, then you may not be familiar with the 'wonderful' world of comic book publishing. (And when we say 'wonderful' we mean 'often petty', 'random', and 'poorly organized'.)
Here's the scoop: we learned a few days ago that (without telling us or really anyone) the printers decided on their own to move the release date of Issue 1 by one week, and the official release date is now the 23rd, rather than the 16th. Fun surprise...
Fortunately for both you and us, that doesn't really effect anyone at the moment. It does push out the release schedule for the rest of the issues but that's the only real result it will have. In fact, this change actually increases the exclusivity of your first digital reward! As we promised, all you backers will still be getting your digital version of Issue 1 on April 15th--which is now a full 8 days before the official release, instead of just one day early.
The only thing we ask of you, because of this change, is that you be extra respectful of the fact that you are receiving unpublished material in advance, and that you not share it on social media, show it to everyone you know, print it out and make paper airplanes out of it, etc. Issue 1 is for your eyes only until the 23rd! But certainly feel free to tell everyone about it if you enjoyed it!
And that's really all! Enjoy the page samples and Monthly Progress Chart below, and keep an eye on your email on the 15th! We hope you will enjoy Issue 1!

Hello everybody!
Issue #3 is fully wrapped (except for oooone last page of color that Nelson is still working on) and we are diving into Issue #4. Everything is in order and on track with the publisher too!
Now, on to the important stuff! Get ready for Issue #1 of Moonshine Bigfoot to drop on April 16th! All you backers will receive a link to download the digital version of Issue #1 the day before (on account of you being the awesome backers that you are!) so keep any eye on your emails on April 15th!
Till then, enjoy the final cover of Issue 4, and another sneak-peak page!
February Update!

Hooboy, it's been a busy month for the Moonshine Crew!
As the art team continues production, the rest of us have been eyeballs-deep in the rigamarole of prepping front, back, and inside front cover files to submit to Image next week--and that turned out to be a little more work than we bargained for, as we've managed to gain three Retailer Exclusive covers that we did not originally plan on! Fortunately, not only do they all look awesome, but because of how comic shop orders work, each one increases Issue 1 sales by 500--which is really good news for us, and also for you, as it potentially makes your Kickstarter exclusive rewards more valuable! Plus you get to say you were onboard the Moonshine Train before it got cool!
In other news, Issue 3 is fully penciled and will be fully inked shortly! The Issue 4 cover is penciled, and the Issue 4 script is in final edits now.
Also here's what we've got to show you this month:
Below is the inks AND colors for one of the new Retailer Exclusive covers--the Ghostbusters parody cover! This one is for Hall of Justice Comics, which is an awesome shop that, if you happen to be a comic fan in Colorado, you probably already know about!
Also, here's one of the several explosive double page spreads from Issue #3!
And, as always, your trusty Monthly Progress Chart.
January Update!

Welcome to 2025, y'all! It has been a very productive month over here for the Moonshine Crew, and we are checking off a lot of production boxes!
Zach and Clara just gave the Issue #3 script it's final polish, so that has been sent off to Thompson so he can start lettering Issue #3. It's very funny, and we are very proud (and giggly) about how it turned out!
Also, the the solicitations for Issue #2 are underway, and are turning out to be way easier than the solicitations for Issue #1, so that's more good news!
We have finalized what all the covers are going to be for Issue #1, and they are now underway. For Issue #1, there will be a total of 4 covers going to print--two standard covers and two Retailer Exclusives, which, if you don't know how that works, basically means the publisher and production team make a deal with a comic book shop to have a cover made just for that shop, in exchange for that shop purchasing 500 of those covers. So it's a win for everyone, basically! And, for your eyes only, here's the first stage of one of those Retailer Exclusive covers--the Ghostbusters parody cover, penciled by Steve Ellis! Can't wait to see this Inked by Zach and colored by Nelson! (And below that, some other page samples and your regularly updated Progress Chart!)
